Your first 10 rolls
Your starting roll pool is heavily weighted toward Common and Uncommon slimes. Don't burn boosts yet — the first 10 rolls exist to teach you the UI and unlock the auto-roll button.
- 1Tap the Roll button (center of screen) until you've used 10 free rolls.
- 2Equip whichever slime has the highest Damage stat. Fin or Spike usually wins.
- 3Send your slime into the Beginner Pond arena to start earning coins.
- 4Don't trade or delete anything — duplicates become crafting material later.
How combat works
Combat is auto-resolved. Your equipped slime attacks based on its Damage and Speed stats. You don't aim or dodge — you optimize the loadout.
⚡ Speed matters early
Lower-Damage but faster slimes (like Spike) clear Beginner Pond waves quicker than slow tanks. Stick with speed until level 8.
🎯 Damage scales hard
Past level 8, raw damage starts beating speed. Switch to Rocky or Fire Slime once enemies start surviving multiple Spike hits.
Day 1–7 progression path
- Day 1Level 1 → 5 · Reach Candy Land · Roll until you hit one Rare.
- Day 2Farm Candy Land for the Orca crafting recipe ingredients.
- Day 3Craft Orca · Push to Level 12 · Unlock Rocky Mountains.
- Day 4–5Roll daily codes · Save 2× Ultra Luck Boosts.
- Day 6Burn the saved boosts in one long roll session — chase a Legendary.
- Day 7Hit Level 20 · Unlock Lava Caverns · Start Magma Slime crafting.
Spending boosts wisely
Boosts are the most-wasted resource for new players. The math is simple: stack boosts before rolling, never spread them out.
Mistakes to avoid
✗ Deleting duplicates
Half the crafting recipes need 3–5 of the same Common. Stockpile, don't delete.
✗ Solo Luck Boost
Using one boost at a time wastes the multiplicative stacking. Save them up.
✗ Rebirth too early
Rebirth before Level 25 + Candy Land cleared = you lose progress with no payoff.
✗ Trading away your first Rare
Your first Rare slime (often Lucky Slime) is a permanent luck stat — keep it.

Slime RNG beginner FAQ
The questions every new Slime RNG player asks first — answered with the same numbers used throughout this guide.
Common beginner questions
Is Slime RNG free to play on Roblox?
Yes — Slime RNG is 100% free on Roblox. You can roll, fight and progress through every biome without spending a Robux. Optional gamepasses (Speed Boost, Auto-Roll, Goop multiplier) accelerate things, but none are required to clear endgame content.
How do you start playing Slime RNG as a complete beginner?
Launch Slime RNG from Roblox, complete the 60-second tutorial, then tap Roll until you've used your 10 free rolls. Equip your highest-damage slime, send it into Beginner Pond's arena to farm coins, and follow the day-by-day path in section 03 above. Don't burn boosts on day one.
What's the fastest way to level up in Slime RNG?
Stay in the highest biome you've unlocked — XP scales with enemy difficulty. Equip your strongest DPS slime (not your luckiest) for grinding sessions, and switch to a Lucky Slime only when you're actively rolling. Most beginners hit Level 20 within 5-7 hours of focused play.
When should I redeem codes as a new Slime RNG player?
Redeem the simple ones (currency, free Apples) immediately — they always help. SAVE every Luck Boost code until you're ready to do a long roll session with multiple boosts stacked at once. Stacking 4 boosts in one window beats spreading 4 single-boost rolls across a week.
Do I need a Lucky Slime to progress in Slime RNG?
Not to progress — but it dramatically speeds up rolling. Lucky Slime is a Rare-tier drop with permanent +50% luck while equipped. Most new players naturally roll one within their first day. If you're past Level 15 without one, focus rolls on Beginner Pond / Candy Land where its odds are highest.
