How to craft a slime in Slime RNG

  1. 1

    Roll the ingredient slimes

Each recipe lists 2-4 ingredient slimes you must own. Most ingredients are common-tier — keep duplicates instead of trading them away.

  2. 2

    Travel to the right biome

Crafting Machines are biome-locked. The recipe card tells you which biome's machine to use — you can't substitute another biome's station.

  3. 3

    Hand in your ingredients

Interact with the Crafting Machine, drag each ingredient slime into its slot, then confirm. Ingredient slimes are consumed permanently.

  4. 4

Wait the cook time, then claim

Most recipes cook in 3-15 minutes real-time. A Speed Boost shortens this by ~30%. The crafted slime appears in your inventory ready to equip.

Slime RNG crafting · FAQ

Quick answers to the questions players send us most about Crafting Machines, ingredients and cook timers.

What is crafting in Slime RNG?

Crafting in Slime RNG lets you skip the RNG entirely: hand in 2-4 ingredient slimes at a biome's Crafting Machine and receive a guaranteed mid-tier rare. There are 6 crafting recipes across 4 biomes — every one is documented above with the exact ingredient list and cook time.

Where are the Slime RNG Crafting Machines?

Each biome has its own Crafting Machine — they are not shared. The recipe card tells you which biome to visit. Once you've unlocked a biome by clearing its boss, the machine sits near the spawn point. Locked biomes mean locked recipes, so progress through the biome chain to unlock more.

Are crafted slimes worth the same as rolled ones?

Mostly yes — crafted slimes have identical stats and trade values to their rolled counterparts. The one catch: crafted slimes can never roll the Huge or Huge-Shiny mutation. If you're chasing a Huge variant, you must roll it from the RNG; if you just want the slime for combat or trading, crafting is faster.

How long do Slime RNG recipes take to cook?

Cook times range from 3 minutes for common recipes to 15+ minutes for rare crafts. Each recipe card shows the exact timer. An active Speed Boost (from a code, gamepass or event reward) cuts cook time by roughly 30% — stack one before queuing multiple recipes.

Should I craft or roll for a slime?

Roll if the slime can spawn as a Huge mutation (only RNG drops are eligible). Craft if you just need the standard slime for combat, trading or collection — it's deterministic and saves Luck Boosts for the chase rolls that actually matter. Use the Tier List to decide which slimes are roll-only chases.
