What is Rebirth?
Rebirth wipes your level, coins, and most equipped slimes in exchange for a permanent stat multiplier. It's the prestige system — designed for players who've cleared the main biomes and want their rolls to count more.
You keep your collection book, codes redeemed, and any slime in long-term storage. Rebirth currency is called Goop.
Unlocking Rebirth
The Rebirth altar unlocks once you reach Level 25 and complete the Candy Land main quest line. You'll see a new portal at spawn glowing purple — that's the Rebirth Sanctum.
Inside, you'll meet the Goop Keeper. Talk to them once to unlock the Goop tracker on your HUD.
Where to find Goop
Goop drops from any enemy slime, but at a base rate of about 1 Goop per 200 enemies killed. Three multipliers stack:
Biome bonus
Lava Caverns and Frozen Tundra both have a 2× Goop drop modifier baked in.
Equipped Lucky
Lucky Slime (or Huge Lucky) increases Goop drops by ~1.5× while equipped.
Goop Potion
Crafted at the alchemy bench — adds +3× Goop for 10 minutes. Stack with biome bonus.
Optimal Rebirth loadout
Before pulling the rebirth lever, equip the slimes you want to save. Anything not equipped or in storage gets reset.
- 1Equip your strongest DPS slime (Huge Spike or Magma Slime work well).
- 2Move every Huge / Mythic / Legendary into long-term storage.
- 3Spend leftover Apples — they don't carry over.
- 4Save 1 Ultra Luck Boost for the post-rebirth opener.
Rebirth multipliers
Each rebirth grants a stacking permanent boost. The first three are where most players get the best return.
| Rebirth # | Goop Cost | Luck Multi | Damage Multi |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 150 | 1.25× | 1.10× |
| 2 | 400 | 1.55× | 1.25× |
| 3 | 1,000 | 2.00× | 1.50× |
| 4 | 2,500 | 2.50× | 1.85× |
| 5 | 6,000 | 3.10× | 2.30× |
When to push another rebirth
The simplest rule: rebirth when both are true.
✓ You can re-clear the unlocked biomes in under 30 minutes.
✓ You have at least 1.5× the next rebirth's Goop cost.
Both conditions met? Pull the lever. If only one is true, keep farming and wait.
Slime RNG Rebirth FAQ
The five questions players ask most about rebirthing in Slime RNG — answered with the same numbers from the multiplier table above.
Common rebirth questions
When should I rebirth in Slime RNG for the first time?
Wait until you reach Level 25 with the Candy Land main quest cleared and at least one Rare-tier slime equipped. Rebirthing earlier wastes the multiplier on a weak collection; rebirthing later trades XP for nothing because your roll progress has already plateaued.
How long does it take to farm 150 Goop for the first rebirth?
Roughly 60-90 minutes if you farm Lava Caverns with a Lucky Slime equipped (no Goop Potion). Add a Goop Potion and a Huge Lucky and you'll cut that to 30-40 minutes. The fastest current Goop farm is Lava Caverns + Huge Lucky + Goop Potion at ~30 Goop per 10 minutes.
What do I lose when I rebirth in Slime RNG?
You lose your level, coins and any slimes that aren't equipped or in long-term storage. You keep your collection book, redeemed codes, equipped slimes and stored slimes — so move every Huge / Mythic / Legendary into storage before pulling the lever.
How many rebirths should I aim for?
Push to at least Rebirth 3 — that's where the Void Realm portal unlocks and the Luck multiplier hits 2.00×. Rebirths 4 and 5 keep paying off but the Goop cost climbs sharply, so most players plateau at RB3 until a new content patch.
Should I buy the Rebirth Boost gamepass?
Only if you're past Rebirth 2 and farming actively. The boost shaves 25% off the Goop requirement of every future rebirth, which compounds nicely from RB3 onwards. Skip it on a fresh account — your time is better spent unlocking biomes first.
