Slime RNG update log · FAQ

Quick answers about how patches roll out, what counts as a major update and where to find the original developer notes.

How often does Slime RNG get updated?

Major Slime RNG updates ship roughly every 4-6 weeks, with hotfixes and minor balance patches in between. Each major patch typically adds a new biome or slime tier, while minors focus on bug fixes and quality-of-life. Bookmark this update log to see every change as it lands.

What's the latest Slime RNG version?

The latest Slime RNG version is v1.6.0 — Void Realm Awakens (released 2026-05-05, tagged "Major Update"). Scroll to the top entry above for the full change list, then refresh your codes and tier list to match the current meta.

What's the difference between a major update, minor update and hotfix?

Major updates introduce new content (biomes, slime tiers, mechanics) and shift the meta. Minor updates tune existing systems and add small features. Hotfixes are emergency patches for crashes or exploits, usually shipped within hours of discovery. Each entry above is colour-coded by tag.

Where do these patch notes come from?

We watch the official Slime RNG developer announcements (Roblox group wall, in-game banner, social posts) and verify each change in-game before publishing. If a patch claim couldn't be reproduced, it doesn't make this log — accuracy matters more than speed.

Will my saved codes still work after an update?

Most active codes survive minor patches, but major content updates often invalidate older code waves. Right after any major update, head to the codes page to see which entries we've moved to the Expired list and to grab the new launch codes. Stack the new codes inside any event window for max value.
