Your arrival point and the location of the Candy Land vendor. Buy Roll Speed Boost here before doing anything else — Orca farming without it is roughly 30% slower.
Candy Land is one of the 7 Slime RNG biomes. Unlock requirement: Reach Level 5. Hosts 1 biome-exclusive slime (top pick: Orca, A-tier).
Sugar-coated terrain crawling with mid-tier slimes. Home of the Orca crafting recipe and most beginner Codes events.
Feels like:Cotton candy clouds, gumdrop trees, licorice rivers
Candy Land is the first real Slime RNG zone — the moment the game stops being a tutorial and starts demanding actual loadout decisions. It maps roughly to the Stouts Studio 'Forest' second zone in difficulty curve (500 HP enemies, ~50 coins per kill in the equivalent zone), with a dramatic 5× coin density jump over Beginner Pond. Most importantly, this is where Orca lives. Orca is the biome-locked Rare carry that anchors mid-game progression, and Candy Land is the only zone in the entire game where you can chase it. New players who skip directly to Cavern or Tundra without parking here for an Orca pull always come back; veterans have permanent muscle memory for the Candy Land portal as the 'Orca farm' shortcut.
Reach character level 5 in Beginner Pond (typically 30–45 minutes from a fresh account)
Walk to the Candy Land Portal at the edge of the Beginner Pond dock — it lights up automatically at level 5
Press E on the portal to fast-travel; first-use bookmarks the portal permanently in your world map
Buy Roll Speed Boost from the Candy Land vendor (1,000 Coins) before settling in to farm — Orca rolls are slow without it
Park at the Gumdrop Grove for the highest Orca drop density; do not waste rolls in the Cotton Candy Plains

The dense central forest where Orca's drop weight is highest. Park here with Auto Roll active for the fastest Orca chase. Cotton Candy Plains spawn fewer Orcas; don't waste time there.
Mid-zone landmark next to the Licorice River. This is where you queue the Orca recipe (2 Spike + 2 Fin) for a guaranteed Orca if you don't want to RNG-chase it. Cooldown is 10 minutes per craft.
The quest-giver standing at the eastern Candy Land border. Talk to them once you've cleared the Candy Land main quest to unlock the Jungle portal.
| Enemy | HP | Coins / kill | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gumdrop Goon | 500 | 50 | Standard Candy Land mob. 5× the HP wall of Beginner Pond — Fin alone won't cut it any more. |
| Licorice Lurker | 650 | 65 | Slightly tankier mob near the Licorice River. Drops Orca at the highest base rate of any mob in the zone. |
| Cotton Candy Wisp | 400 | 40 | Fast and fragile. Easy clear, but mediocre drop weight — farm Lurkers instead. |
| Sugar Sentinel (mini-boss) | 4,500 | 750 | Spawns at the Orca Crafting Altar every 8 minutes. Drops a guaranteed Apple on kill. |
Coin yield: Candy Land sits in the early-mid coin band: 40–65 coins per standard kill, ~750 from the Sugar Sentinel boss. Compare to Beginner Pond (~10/kill) below and Jungle (~150/kill) above. Coin density is 5× Beginner Pond — the first major economic jump of the game.
The standard Candy Land farm composition. Spike's 1.2 speed handles the runner mobs while Fin tanks. Lucky Slime in support is the difference between a 2-hour Orca chase and a 6-hour one — pull a Lucky Slime in Beginner Pond before settling here if you don't have one yet.
