📍 Spawn Dock
The respawn beacon and your home base for the first hour. The Auto Roll terminal sits at the end of the dock — buy it the moment you have 200 Coins.
Beginner Pond is one of the 7 Slime RNG biomes. Unlock requirement: Default — start here. Hosts 1 biome-exclusive slime (top pick: Fin, B-tier).
A bouncy starter zone full of friendly Fins. You'll learn rolling, fighting, and the crafting machine basics here.
Feels like:Cozy, pastel water, bobbing lily pads
Beginner Pond is the on-ramp — the first 30 minutes of every Slime RNG account, the place where you learn that this game is going to feel good before any mechanics start punishing you. Independent wikis catalog the equivalent zone (Stouts Studio's 'Meadow' starter) at roughly 100 enemy HP and 10 coins per kill, and Beginner Pond inherits that exact tuning philosophy: low HP walls, generous coin density, and a Fin-saturated drop pool that ensures every new player rolls something usable in their first ten pulls. It's not the highest-throughput zone in the game, but it's the only zone designed primarily as a teaching environment, and most veterans have a soft spot for it precisely because of how friction-free it feels.
No unlock required — every account spawns directly into Beginner Pond on first login
Walk forward from the spawn beacon to find the auto-roll terminal (200 Coins, the most important early-game purchase)
Buy Auto Roll before you do anything else — it lets the rolling system run while you fight
Talk to the Beginner Pond NPC at the dock for the level-1 daily quest (free 500 Coins on completion)
Stay in Beginner Pond until you've rolled at least one Fin and reached level 5 — that's when Candy Land's portal lights up
The respawn beacon and your home base for the first hour. The Auto Roll terminal sits at the end of the dock — buy it the moment you have 200 Coins.
The highest-density Fin spawn zone in the entire biome. Park here once you have Auto Roll active for the fastest level-1 to level-5 grind in the game.
Your first introduction to the Crafting Machine UI. The terminal here only accepts beginner-tier recipes, but it's the perfect place to practice feeding Fin duplicates before you reach a real upgrade biome.
Glows at level 5. Walk up to it and press E to fast-travel — the portal stays bookmarked in your world map permanently after first use.
| Enemy | HP | Coins / kill | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lily Bouncer | 100 | 10 | Standard tutorial mob. The benchmark every other zone's HP wall is measured against. |
| Pond Skipper | 120 | 12 | Slightly faster spawn near the lily pads. Worth chaining for the Fin drop chance. |
| Reed Whisperer (rare spawn) | 180 | 25 | Spawns once every 10 minutes near the dock. Drops a guaranteed Common slime on kill. |
Coin yield: Beginner Pond sits at the floor of the coin economy: 10–25 coins per kill, ~500 from the daily quest. Compare to Candy Land (~50/kill) above it. The biome's value isn't gold — it's the friction-free Fin farm and the Crafting Machine tutorial.
Beginner Pond is intentionally designed for under-equipped players. You don't need a real loadout here — just lead with Fin, let Auto Roll farm rolls, and walk into mobs. The biome's HP wall is low enough that even a fresh account clears it without consumables.
The questions players ask most about unlocking Beginner Pond, its exclusive slimes and crafting options.
Beginner Pond unlocks via: Default — start here. Once the requirement is met the biome portal lights up at spawn — fast-travel directly from the world map. Most players reach this biome within their first few hours of progression.
1 slime drop exclusively from Beginner Pond, including Fin (B-tier, Common roll). You must roll inside this biome — the exclusive pool isn't accessible from any other zone.
Cozy, pastel water, bobbing lily pads For collection completionists, yes — it's the only place to roll its 1 exclusive slimes. Use the Luck Calculator to see your effective odds before committing a long roll session here.
Beginner Pond doesn't host its own Crafting Machine right now — biome-specific recipes will appear here as soon as the developers add them. Until then, head to a neighbouring biome to craft.
Follow the unlock chain on the main Biomes page — each biome's drop pool gets harder and rarer as you progress. If you've cleared this biome's quest, the next portal at spawn will be glowing; otherwise, push your level or rebirth count to meet the requirement.
